Application Manager
Hi,
In the application manager I have "DX Driver" listed under apps available for download. I am new to pro tools and am not sure if I need to download it and if not why is it there. Second question is how do I know when updates are available for my plug-ins? Specifically the compressor bundle and eleven plug-in that I downloaded when I bought pro tools (got two free with pro tools). Basically, how do I know these are up to date or have updates available. They do not show up in the application manager. Same goes for updates to EuControl. Thanks in advance for any help with this. Pro Tools 12.2, Avid Pro Tools Quartet (black version), Pro Tools Control (app for iPad)

Re: Application Manager
The DX driver is for those who have DX hardware.
If Eleven and the compressor bundle are not showing up in the applications manager, download the most recent versions and install them. For plug-ins to be compatible with the application manager they have to be version 12.

Re: Application Manager
Thank you for the reply.
The eleven plug-in and compressor bundle's newest version's available are v11. (correct me if there is a v12 and I am missing it though). That is why they are not in the app manager as you said. So what is the best method to check if there are updates for them or are they automatically updated with pro tools updates. I was hoping the app manager would be a simple tool to organize and keep everything up to date and not have to look up individual items to make sure they are up to date. Maybe it is still a work in progress as I also use adobe's creative cloud software and updater and that works kind of spotty too and it has been out for years and is still buggy As far as the DX Driver. I use a Pro Tools Apogee Quartet (the black version). So is it safe to assume I do not have DX hardware? (new to Pro Tools so please bare with me I googled dx hardware to see what it was but just want to make sure.

Re: Application Manager
no, you don´t need it, it´s for a Mojo or Nitrix DX video device only.

Re: Application Manager
If you want to know what version is out, check the product pages.
Eleven is at v12 now. https://www.avid.com/US/products/eleven The Classic Compressor bundle is still on v11. http://www.avid.com/us/products/clas...ressors-bundle
