Seems like all plugins gone forever
I recently trashed my preference folder to solve a problem. I think it was the error 9095. But since then I have lost all my plugins. I was using 8.4. I have tried upgrading to 8.5, with no success with plugin recovery. Obviously I have gone the plugin folders(unused). They're not there. I have given up and realized they are gone. Will y'all help me by giving me the best ways to get my plugins back. Including deleting them and reinstalling them. Yes, let me mention they all work in standalone. Someone please help!

Re: Seems like all plugins gone forever
When you say lost all your plugins ? Do you mean the avid (or in your case with PT 8 digidesign) plugins ? Even the ones that were included in the system ?
I suppose when you say 'they work in standalone mode' you are talking about instrument plugins ? Can you check the plugins folder ? Are the .dpm files still there ? Chris

Re: Seems like all plugins gone forever
Thanks for the response:Yes I am talking about instrument plugins. The ones that come with PT 8 are all present and after checking the plugin folder the .dpm files are there.
