Dithering DOWN....
Hi Everyone,
What are the best ways you recommend to take your 24bit Bounce and get it to a nice dithered 16 bit ready to burn on CD stereo .wav file? When I bounce and it gives me the option to convert during or after is there a better choice? Thanks |

Re: Dithering DOWN....
Waves L3 as the last plug on your master bus using the 'Dither 1 Ultra Requantizer' preset.

Re: Dithering DOWN....
I keep everything 24-bit... even record/bounce-to-disk... and use Sonic Studio's soundBlade for PMCD authoring, applying dither at that point while saving as a DDP file or JAM image. This allows me to keep a 24-bit archive for future use.
Info on Sonic Studio's soundBlade HERE.
