7.1.1 downloading error
'Mounting failed'.
That's the error message I keep getting after trying to download PT LE 7.1.1 about 5 or 6 times in the last couple of days. The frustrating thing is that I download about 75 MB or more (once, even something as high as 103 MB) and then - the error message crops up. I do remember reading about this a while ago but the impression I got was it had been sorted out. Has it? Can anyone help me about why this is happening? Could it be because (1) I am using a non-Intel Mac to download the file (my protools mac doesn't have an internet connection) or (2) I am using a network LAN connection at the workplace to download the file (again, my home arrangement is a dial-up connection, not fast enough...)? Do these things matter or is there something else that's causing this? Will appreciate any help. I mean, here's this spanking new iMac 2Ghz sitting at home, all dressed up and... nowhere to go. Thanks. |
