After deleting the Device and System settings in /L*/P*/Audio the USB interface that I use for system sound outside of ProTools still defaults to 192 KHz. The HDX card did indeed remember the 44.1 KHz setting but I fear it is only a matter of time before it will jump to 192 KHz, as it keeps doing every couple of weeks. Will report back though, thanks again! edit: I will experiment though replacing the USB interface with a AVB based interface as it might be the 100ft USB extender causing trouble. |
