Default Strike and exporting to separate midi tracks

So, I saw a tutorial and in the manual where it states that you can take a Strike instance, and export midi and it will break it up into separate midi tracks, kick, snare, ride, etc.

But in PT8 it just doesn't work, only exports 1 track, all parts included.

Did a search on the DUC VI forum and found that it was in version 1, but left out in the later version or doesn't work with PT8.

Question; is there a way to get the previous version of Strike?

How I do it now then is:

1. drag to export midi and have one track, all parts.
2. duplicate that track 5 times
3. in copy 1, I delete everything except kick
4. copy 2, delete all leaving snare
5. copy 3, delete all leaving ride

etc.
So I get what I wanted.
But...

Thanks
Chucker

Strike 1.0.x supports that functionality. Strike 1.5 exports MIDI to single track by AIR group feature requests being upheld.

I often use the Select/Split Notes feature in the Event Operations window.
For Pitch Criteria, select All Notes. Then under Action, select Split Notes: A New Track per Pitch.

Thank you. Yes, this way is beautiful also. "Event Operations, Select/Split note ... etc. splits out the 'all instruments' in the midi file into separate instrument midi tracks (kick, snare, ride, etc.).

Works great! Thanks.
