"Save" not saving
Hi all, newish PT user and my first post here!
I'm running PT HD2 Accel with a DCommand 8, and occasionally I get a situation where "save" doesn't work - both on the DCommand and from the file menu. The button led on the DCommand doesn't go out, and when I use the file menu save instead, "saving" flashes in the bottom left corner, but again, the led doesn't go out. Further evidence that it isn't actually saving is that if I do a save then immediately quit, I get an on screen prompt asking if I want to save changes. As I said, this is intermittent, and I can't find any pattern to it. Anyone else experienced this? Thanks in advance, Andy

Are you using the Massey delay plug in the session?

What are your system specs? Have you tried trashing the PT preferences?

If you have the Digidesign "PhaseScope" plugin open/displayed in your PT session AND set to LEQA mode... it can appear that PT hasn't "Saved" after either pressing save on the D-Control/Command or via the Menu.
PT has actually saved your session but the plugin is in a constant state of "measurement" so in theory, the instant after you hit save, the session state has changed because of the way that Plugin operates. Close the plugin window or switch it to Phase mode... hit Save... no more red lights. This may or may not help you chasing your "bug" but my 2c. Cheers Tom
