003 rack issue with video playback in PT LE 8

Hi all,

When i import any video in pro tools le 8 with 003 rack and press the spacebar to play,it takes atleast 3-4 seconds to start the playback,but when i play the same session with mbox 2 micro,there is absolutely no problem,what should i do to?

what version of Protools are you using?

i think that 8.0.1 resolves that issue (a delay in the video when you are using the digi hardware as system output device )

I am using protools 8.0.1 only but no solution....??????

I'm getting the same issue with 003 rack+. Quite annoying.

The workaround is to change the output device in the Sound control panel to 'Built-In' rather than Digi HW....

We're working on a permanent solution for a future release of Pro Tools.
