Default Crash on opening session with ARA + Melodyne plugin

I just saved a session I've been working on for a couple of weeks. I had previously gotten error messages from Pro Tools about lost ARA data, and error messages in the ARA window about corrupted data. So I had done some tuning using the plug-in version Melodyne Assistant, not ARA. Now when I try to open this session, PT gets to "restoring ARA data" (I still had ARA enabled on a duplicated & disabled track), and then Pro Tools crashes. I get the Apple "this application has quit unexpectedly" dialog.

Troubleshooting I've done:
1. I can open other recent sessions just fine, including sessions with ARA Melodyne.

2. I can also open the session backup of the last version before I instantiated Melodyne plugin, from last week. But the versions from this morning, when I'd instantiated Melodyne but not yet started using it do NOT open.

3. I removed Melodyne from the plugins folder, and PT started up. I was able to open the troubled session, got an error about missing Melodyne plugin & it said it was removing Melodyne ARA data from the session. I saved this de-ARA'ed version, quit, put Melodyne back into the plugins folder, and reopened the de-ARA'ed session successfully. In fact, the Melodyne plugin kept its edits, but all ARA data was gone and Melodyne was no longer selected as the elastic plugin on any tracks.

Please let me know what other information i can provide that will help with debugging this issue. Also, I couldn't find a place on the Avid site to log a bug report / support ticket; is there such a place? I have a current Perpetual License.
