PT 8 Crashes on Start-Up. Rewire related?
Hello,all—
Just installed 8.0 this afternoon, after installing Leopard, too. Installation seemed to go flawlessly. First time attempting to fire it up, and it crashes about half-way through loading the litany of plug-ins. Seems to happen about the same spot—I think related to a Melodyne or Rewire issue. SO.... anyone else experience this? Is there a preference I should trash to fix things? Any advice appreciated. My rig: PT 8 on Mac Pro Quad-Core 2.66, 6 gig of RAM. OS10.5.6. Many thanks. David |

Re: PT 8 Crashes on Start-Up. Rewire related?
It's covered in profusion here on the DUC - do a search for 'Rewire'...
(hint - update your Melodyne and other ReWire capable apps). |
