Default All Plugin alliance licenses wreak havoc at first launch

Is this an Avid, Windows 11 or plugin alliance issue:

At first startup with Pro Tools, newly installed Plugin Alliance licenses pop up like a storm, all requiring individual activation. How can this be avoided?

A few years back, only one plugin used to pop up at Pro Tool's startup, which allowed you to activate it including all the others at once.

Now they pop up like flies all individually, infesting Pro Tool's startup, is this normal?

This seems normal. Since the plug-ins didn't actually load successfully (no license), Pro Tools tries again the next time it launches. If these are separate plugins, and you don't plan on activating a license for them, you can just move them out of the plug-ins folder, so they aren't loaded each time PT starts. If they are all part of one plug-in file, then there isn't really anything you can do about it and it would have to be something that Plugin Alliance would have to address.

I get 115! requests, and I have actually deleted the plugin files, still comes up. Is this a registry issue?

It's not a registry thing.

Are you seeing warnings about plugins uses in sessions that you are tyring to open or just the plugins warnings when you launch Pro Tools without a session.

Move the plugin files to the trash, empty the trash (or rm/del them using the command line).

Delete the plugin cache files. Which as a reminder changed in 2023.12 and later:

Mac: /Users/Shared/Pro Tools/AAXPlugInCache/*

Windows: C:\Users\Public\Pro Tools\AAXPlugInCache\*

remember to quote or escape the space in "Pro Tools" if doing this from the command line.
