Angry New Snow Leopard and old mbox2

I recently upgraded from my iBook G4 running Tiger to a Mac mini 2.53 with Snow Leopard. I have PT 7.3.1 running on a Mbox 2. Since upgrading, everytime I run any audio program using my Mbox 2, I hear a faint 'flatline noise'. It continues until I close the program. Any suggestions?

Without running off and checking the compatibility pages I do beleive the first version of PTLE qualified for Snow Leopard is 8.0.3

Your lucky its working at all.

Thanks for the advice. I actually used Migration Assistant to do the transfer and I think that might have screwed it up. I can't use Logic properly either. I'm going to re-install PT from scratch and see if that works. I will upgrade to PT 8.0.3 as soon as possible.

Migration Assistant is not good for high level apps (Pro Tools, Logic, FCP, ect.)
uninstall then reinstall from scratch, you need 8.0 at least (it works, just not reliably)
