A clarification from Avid would be good.

I would imagine there are a fair amount of sessions out there with this plug given its relatively early appearance as a channel strip. I have a quite a bit of 6.4 sessions with this plug as it was pretty efficient on resources.

A clarification was given. Avid says that it is Focusrite who develops the Forte.

Why not ask Focusrite. It's up to Focusrite, not Avid. I asked Soundtoys about AAX, not Avid.

i asked focusrite ... they said its not planned so far... that was a year ago or so.
