default track colours in PT8

just did i quick search but im desperate for the toliet....!


can we change and save the default colours or do we have to
keep changing the track colours when we create a new track?

i hate the green AUX colour

i don't think you can change the default color of the tracks...
you can use the preference dialog referring to default track colors, but if you choose the default color coding to be by track type, you can't change the default colors, and you'll have the ugly green

you can choose the default color coding to be something else than track type...or NONE: in this case evry new track you'll create will be black and you can assign any colour you like without seeing that green :)

but this won't help you to avoid changing colors....

create your own template(s) and set up your track color preference. Then just use your template(s)

didn't realize that you can save a session as a template and it would appear in the start up dialogue box!

mind you, i haven't changed my way of working in PT at all over the years........

.. i think i should read up on that "elastic audio" thing i've heard about
