demo crashes at launch

hi,
i downloaded the 6.8 demo last night, but it crashes at startup - it gives a message 'your modular system is not properly configured' and stops loading - immediately followed by the message 'D:\projcets\..\Rewire.dll could net be verrified' - but i have no folder D:\projects\
i would really like to try the demo.. i am using a Firewire Audiophile and it had me select from a list that didn't incluse it at download time so i chose Audiophile 2496 - could that have something to do with it..?
i know the FW AP is new to the compatible list - is it not yet supported in the demo or something..?

eh....running software or an installer ment for product A with product B can have those effects yeah.

Cars ment to run on petrol dont do so well on diesel and viceversa.
