Default Solo selected regions?

I'm sure this isn't already a feature, or we'd all use it a thousand times a day, but how great would it be to have a mode to solo just the selected regions?

Quick way to do this.

Highlight an area and "Command+E" name the region, it'll become highligted in your regions list.

"OPTION+Click" the region in the region's list it'll solo play that region.

Obviously your suggestion would let you hear the audio file in it's raw form.

You would have no effects or EQ to hear.

You could also open the "gain" audiosuite plugin and hit preview.

Now that I think about it.

All you really need to do is go into Shuttle mode at normal speed.

What I'm after is to play only the selected regions, but on the tracks, so you can hear them in sync with each other, etc..

When I'm cutting and have dozens of events happening around each other, this would be a great way to find things, figure out what to play/mute, etc..

Doesn't look like this BB displays images anymore, so here's a link to a screenshot of what I mean.

Why would that be the case? No, I'd want it to play thru whatever assignments there are, just as if the tracks were soloed.

Close! But I 'd have to turn off my preference of "Edit insertion follows Scrub/Shuttle", or I lose my selection. I use shuttling all the time to locate.

I'll give this a try though.
