001 A/D converters vs. ADAT converters
I remember seeing a post somewhere which stated that the A/D converters on your typical ADAT are better than the ones on the 001.
Can anyone comment on this? Should I really be running through my lightpipe connection more often?

Sorry but what kind of ADAT are talking about,
XT, LX, blackface ? Blackface are crappy sounding AD/DA, XT or LX not bad (20bits), I had to do a session at a friend couple weeks ago, and I needed more inputs so I hooked up his ADAT blackface to my Digi001, and what a difference, There's no life in those converters.
