The following Customer Service interim update has been posted to the DAE/DSI section of Downloads

DAE/DIO 5.0.1cs3 Update (For Macintosh)
DAE and DIO (Direct I/O extension) for Pro Tools LE
For Audiomedia III — Fixes Static on Left Channel

What’s Addressed?
Preliminary testing has shown that this interim release that can be used with Pro Tools 5.0.1 ToolBox systems to address the following problem:
- Crackling audio in the left channel output of some Audiomedia III cards. (The erroneous audio is not part of the recorded audio files)

Who Should Use this Update?
This update should be used by any Audiomedia III /Toolbox customers who are using DAE/DIO v5.0.1 and experiencing this problem. If you are not experiencing this problem with your system, you should not install these components. Older versions of DAE/DIO are unaffected by this bug.
