Trouble getting ProTools to respond

I have a M-Box 2. Yesterday I opened a session to do some editing and Protools was running really slow. When I tried to start the song it just froze up my computer (Not Responding). Today I defragmented my drive, and disabled my wireless card. Now, it's still running slow but It'll play BUT it takes about 30 seconds to start playing after press play. I've changed the H/W Buffer Size and all that stuff. I just dont know whats going on. I've never had a problem before. It started yesterday afternoon. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks alot!

About the only other thing I can think of to say is that its saying that it's conflicting w/ other CPU tasks...but theres nothing else running....

You should start with the steps in the Win XP/ Pro Tools 6.x/7.x General Troubleshooting thread and post specific info on your system per the info on that thread if you're unable to resolve the problem.
