Default Direct Box & Line Leveler for Keyboard Modules

Excluding pre-amps, what purchases do I need to make to connect 3 keyboard modules to the 192 I/O?

Will a 4 channel DI box work, and should it be active or passive? Also, do I need a line leveler?

Thanks

if you use an active di it will need some sort of power source. Some models are battery powered if a 48v dc power is not available.

I see a lot of keyboard players using submixers for level control although you can do some level setting from the output of the synth itself

good luck

I just run all mine directly in to the -10 inputs of the 192 I/O.

I prefer to balance all my unbalanced keyboards and MIDI gear using THESE boxes from ProCo. I like to be able to run mic level from these boxes into my preamps of choice. Yields a very clean, noisless result. They also have ground flip switches in case there is a buzz.

I use my Digi PRE but if I didn't have that I would just run direct into the 192 I/O as long as they were short cable runs.

Thanks for your suggestions. I was able to purchase a D-Sub cable to male and connect one end to the C24, the other, the 192.
