iLok Cloud session Problems
since almost a week everytime when starting up protools I get the message: "Restore your ilok Cloud session" and I don`t really get why - this never happened before
is there a way to keep the license in the cloud without always confirmin to restore it? thx |

I don't know what's happening in your case, but what I would try is a simple procedure know to solve ilok cloud problems: Quit PT, then in ilok license manager; file menu: "close all sessions", then again in file menu: open cloud session. (The word 'session' in this context is ilok cloud related, and has nothing to do with PT sessions.

Of course, YMMV, but for me, I will NEVER use cloud ilok except in the case of emergency. Use a physical iLok and you will not have the problem you are now having

agree but I`m constantly travelling and I already lost my ilok once and was in real troubles for a while..!

After this happened to me the last time I went 100% on the dongle (and paid for the annual emergency backup). I can’t not be able to get into PT.

I only get that pop up when I switch from my main computer to the laptop and vice versa. iLok Cloud has been running well for me lately (fingers crossed).

That's because you have to close the ilok cloud session on the other computer before you can open an ilok cloud session on the new computer. Like I wrote above; In ilok license manager, close all cloud sessions and then open a new cloud session. All is in the 'file' menu.

I’ve been using that feature consistently since the day it was released. It was perfect timing and actually saved me from buying another HD license. There were a few issues early on but as of late its been great.
