Pro tools 12.5.0 and macOS Sierra
Hello everyone,
I'm about to update from Mavericks to Sierra and I'm using Pro Tools 12.5.0. I know Avid System Compatibility Chart says Sierra and 12.5.0 are not supported, but I read many threads where 12.5.2 works with Sierra (but none with 12.5.0). Could someone tell me if 12.5.0 and Sierra work fine ? Thanks a lot Last edited by SamiBouvet; 07-18-2017 at 04:33 AM. |

Re: Pro tools 12.5.0 and macOS Sierra
I got ProTools 12.5.0 to run on Sierra today (Mac OS 10.12.6). Didn't run any serious sessions to push it, but it seemed to run normally.

Re: Pro tools 12.5.0 and macOS Sierra
I've been running it on 10.12.1 just to see what happens. Haven't created any new sessions though, just working on old stuff so to speak. I'm not what you would probably call a power user, small sessions stock plug-ins etc. But I haven't had any problems yet. I did however clone my Yosemite install using Carbon Copy Cloner after the many recommendations from the DUC community about having a back up plan.
