Music Production Toolkit Question

If I have a Music Production Toolkit, but it's the older box before they updated the image for MPTK2, and I register it does that immediately provide me with the licenses for MPTK2 or do you get a free amnesty upgrade?

Because I just ordered MPTK2, but the box I got was the older one and I don't want to open and register it if the only way to get MPTK2 is to return this one or pay that $49.9 upgrade.

has anyone registered the older box that says 'requires Pro Tools 7.1 or higher on it" and part number 9910-55016-00 - If that matters or helps.

has NOBODY registered a MPTK1 box in the last weeks? No help on this one?

They don't even make the MPT1 as far as I know since it's not compatible with the current version of Pro Tools. I had MPT1 with 7.3 but then upgraded to MPT2 when I got PT8 for $49. There is no free upgrade that I know of, the best was the $49 upgrade from an existing MPT1.

If you purchased and register your MPTK1 after October 3rd, 2008, you'll get an amnesty email upgrade to MPTK2.
