ACCESS VIRUS TDM
Did someone see the VIRUS TDM at NAMM 2000?
Is this 'soft beast' sample accurate in Timing like the VST 2.0 plug ins? Any comments welcome Claude

Re: ACCESS VIRUS TDM
Fox,
I saw it at AES as well last year, and it sounded pretty good; certainly on a par with the other virtual analogs. Regarding timing, do you really want sample accurate timing in an analog-style synth? My Prophet-5 can take up to 50 milliseconds to respond to a keydown, and I still find it a wonderful tool. I'm sure the Virus is fast enough for most things, but it probably exhibits the few ms delay that a lot of PT plugins have. Jamshied |
