Would have to be emails as PM's go through the Avid system. And not everyone makes their email address public.

Is it really that big a deal though?

It's not pirated software and you can't exactly run it without a license. At the end of the day, we have a license that we paid for, we are entitled to the use of the software.

If they got p!55ed at someone posting the installer… well...

I don't think this fiasco is anything more than another episode of blind blithering incompetence on the part of Avid.

My first doubts were raised during the webinar, during which the T3 panel (Tom, Tim and Tony) twice asserted that all PT12 users are on support plans, when I'm an example of one who isn't.

And because I'm not, I not only don't have 12.2 in my account, I don't have 11.3.2 either.

So they've not given it out to PT12 owners, they've used the presence of a support plan on the account as the qualifying criteria. Wrongly on two counts in my case, as I'm entitled to both 12.2 and 11.3.2.

There simply is no excuse for it, at least one of the three amigos should be on here apologising and informing us that he's going to fix it, and in what timescale.

They've become a moving target. The rules change regularly. People who subscribed months ago don't get the latest offers as those who just subscribed. 11.3.2 is given to those with 12.2 instead of those who actually need it with 11.3.1.

One week they were offering Eleven only to LE and not HD then it seems HD will get it. I'm afraid to subscribe only because I may miss a good offer if I wait.

Penalizing early adopters is terrible business.

What has been touted by some as 'inevitable' has still not become reality. I checked my account today and there's no 11.3.2.

What does Vegas say about the odds of non-PT12 owners *ever* getting this update? I'm thinking 2:1 against it, and the odds get worse by the day.

Those odds are still way better than Vinci at 300 to 1 and Penetta at 150 to 1 to win the Women's US Tennis Open
