HELP!!! PT level output is low going into MOTU Microbook
I will try my best to describe the problem, but know that I'm relatively new at this so I will probably botch some terminology.
My master fader reads -12db signal strength during playback in PT. The signal shrinks to -35db when sending it MOTU MicroBook as a Playback Engine. I'm getting this reading by looking the "From Host" meter level under the Output tab in CueMix. As a result, I can barely hear playback when trying to record parts since the input volume (i.e. a guitar) is much louder in comparison. I called MOTU. We reset everything to factory defaults and that didn't fix the problem. So I imagine something is happening with PT. Please help! :) |

Re: HELP!!! PT level output is low going into MOTU Microbook
Nevermind, found the problem.
The Under System Preferences>Sound>OutPut Tab I found the Motu Microbook was turned way down. It's a silly problem, but if I made this mistake, maybe someone else will. Hopefully this thread will help them. |
