MORE forums? Really??

I see we now have a separate HD|Native section too. Was that really necessary? I thought the software was the same just without TDM? How many of the questions posted there are actually about the physical cards and therefore not applicable to both? What's next, a specific forum for 64-bit related complaints/discussion ?

Isn't this all a little counter-productive? Newbies are already are confused about where to post - especially if they've upgraded from a PTLE setup to V9, where's best for them to post a question?

Wouldn't it be better to streamline this place a little so that people don't keep asking questions that have already been answered in a different section? Plus those regulars who answer most of the questions will not have to spend so long looking for people to help!

Well, I think the thought was nice(folks with HD/Native hardware issues would be in their own place), but suspect it will end up being yet another place for newbies to post about their Mbox problems with no mention of what platform they run

I think this actually makes sense. Though the software is the same, the hardware and how it interacts with the computer is different from HD or LE systems. There may be unique issues that might come up.
