Default SOLVED: iLok Surrender license version mistake! no support

During activation of a PT HD9 Upgrade i accepted the default suggestion from activation process, and thereby accepted to surrender PT 7.3 Amnestry that I don't had, instead of 7.2 that I had. I sent three support request since jan 26 without success, case # 01481985, # 01487308 and # 01487565. Any ideas? AVID Support is not working with me. But the billing process works VERY WELL!!

Is PT 9 working?

If so, and you didn't actually surrender anything you had, I wouldn't sweat it...

Note that all opinions, observations, whatever, in this post are mine, unless I'm being mean or am wrong, in which case it's somebody else's fault. I do not work for Avid (their loss)...my only relationship with Avid is that of a customer (when I'm not too poor to buy stuff, like now)...and that hot administrative assistant...that's more of a "thing" than a "relationship" (that should keep them guessing for a while...)

Just rockin'...what more is there?

The iLok server needs to "see" the 7.3 Amnesty licence in my iLok to transfer the new PT HD9 license.

I did the same thing. I asked Avid for support and they send me a new asset, problem solved, took a couple days

Why did you send three support tickets for one problem? That unnecessarily taxes the support system with redundant claims that still need to be looked into by the support staff.

Because five days without a simple answer of Customer or Sales support is very frustrating. The second ticket was sent yesterday and the third ticket was automatically canceled by the server.
