Default Help with FX on MON!!!!!

I am a bit new to Venue. I started at the MON start 48ch Monitors. So how do I send to the EFX? I see that there are fx returns and groups. How do I send to them?

I use aux 1-16 for 8 IEM mixes. Just need to figure out how to use the groups for effects.

Well you could patch effects on a channel by channel basis or you could use the 8 PQ's for your IEM mixes. The PQ's give you the option to select 8 individual channels, plus you can send from the groups, effects, returns Auxes, Stereo LR mix, used sensibly you can easily build mixes using the master, plus "a bit more me" from either a user assigned selection or the group or an Aux send.

You need to select 24 bus configuration, in that case the busses will turn into additional auxes. Then you put some FX plugins in your rack, (these need to be mono in stereo out) assign an group out to the plugin and send plugin output to FX return. In case you need only say 4FX units, you can use the remaining 4 mono groups as, well, 4 mono groups or 2 stereo groups or a combination. You should check the manual, there is lots of fun waiting.

Concur with Digidesigner comment or you can use the DIRECT out of a specific channel (ie lead vocal) to the plug in (verb/ delay ). You'll need to go and select POST in the pick off page of the options and then go to patch bay and select POST for that channel. Sounds complicated but once you find it and do it, simple.
