Hey all,
All I need to do, is for PT10 HD to follow the solo/mute of a track pre-fader and apply to the sends. i.e solo a track, mute all other tracks sends. Pretty simple, but I can't find any viable solution to it. The routing is as follows. All tracks set to pre-fader send Volumes down on all tracks Aux bus send outputs all sent to a Pre-Master Aux (which has safe solo enabled so I can solo the Aux sends individually) Pre-Master Aux is then sent to Master I know there have been workarounds to this issue online, with making the track in-active etc. But if you would want to solo a specific track, you would need to make all others inactive, which is a joke to say the least. Hopefully there is something I'm missing... |

Here is my solution to how PT handles this(which can be a PITA). I add a pre-fade send to every track, in the last slot. Then I mute all of them(Alt-mute any send and all in the row will mute). I assign that send to an extra set of outputs, which I name SoloPath(just makes sense to me). That set of outputs feeds another input of my monitor switcher. This way, I can Ctrl-click on the send for any track(or combination of tracks) select the source to go to my monitors so I can listen to anything(even an AUX track fed by post-fade sends) totally independent of anything else going on

I would stop using sends, and double up the track using the same input source, group this second track with the original to use non global settings and link the mutes and solos.
