Carbon Mac Studio and Sonoma 14.3.1

Can anyone share results of Carbon users running Sonoma 14.3.1 with a Mac Studio M2 and PT 2024.3

I would hold off there seems to an issue with the Carbon AVB on Sanoma

And PT Expert just came out with article about a number of issues with Sonoma for multiple developers including Pace iLok

I had no choice when I purchased my Mac Studio it came with Sonoma installed, It was the version before 14.3.1, It did have a few bugs carbon dropped out once,would crash after closing PT, but it was usable. When I updated to 14.3.1 all the problems seem to be fixed. I will wait until they issue an new update for sonoma before I install the latest version of PT.

What I do is keep a backlog of about the last 3 or 4 PT versions D-mags in a folder on my desk top so when I do update I can easily uninstall the new and reinstall a previous version if necessary

Same here. Smooth sailing on M2 Studio with latest version of PT and Sonoma. I wouldn't have even known there were issues with Carbon and Sonoma if I wasn't on these forums.

Thats good to hear. I am thinking of updating my M1 MBP to the newest Sonoma and PT 2024.3
