Digi 002R was eaten by snakes
Hi Folks,
since digi 001 i´m digidesign user. Through a hardware exchange my setup is since 2005 a digi 002r, which worked all the time with the standalone coreaudio driver and Logic audio. Unfortunatly my mac G5 crashed and i bought an imac core duo 2.8GHz 24" what i thought it would be a good idea, nice screen, no fan noises. This was half a year ago and till this time the digi 002r was no more to use. Yesterday I expected with the appereance of the new 7.4.2 coreaudio driver the problems are past. No! The driver communicate with the digi, i mean you can change sample rates and buffersize, but the iMac just see the digi as a midi device but all audio is fade out. I also switched off the network abilities of the firewire bus, nothing helped. Of course i used the 10.5.3 combo update and tried all the simple things like different cable, clean uninstall,pr ram reset, thrown away preferences. Does someone get an idea to fix it. DUC Admin welcome |
