Command 8 Peripherals Problem

My command 8 was working and all of a sudden it stopped. When i go into the Peripherals and look at the midi controllers i see that in the "Received From" it says "None" is the only option, i tried troubleshooting many different ways. Different USB ports, Different USB cord, even trashing the PT Prefs and all. i am all out of ideas what is the cause of this bug, PLEASE help me...
