Midi track stops outputing notes for no reason
I don't know how else to describe the problem. I've recorded a midi track in protools in case the client wants the piece transposed. I go to playback the midi track in to the sampler, and it plays maybe the first 5 seconds of the track, and then just stops outputing notes. I record disabled and just played back the track to watch the VU meter, and it confirms it. The track just quits outputing. Protools continues to playback, but nothing comes from that midi track. What the hell?
Running Protools 7.1 on Windows XP pro. |

Re: Midi track stops outputing notes for no reason
What happens if you create a new MIDI track with the same settings and drag the MIDI data on the previous track to the new one?
If it works, it sounds like some kind of corruption. You may also consider creating a new session and using Import Session Data to import everything from the current session, which may alleviate the problem. |
