Hi

Do you have any waves! i see this occasionally when i'm saving a waves patch! not directly related i know but worth a mention!

Have you tried running PT with all plugs removed from the plugs folder, except the stereo. mixer.dpm plug!! as it might be a plugin issue??

Have you done the usual troubleshooting stuff? trash all prefs and data base files etc!

Re-install of Pro tools!?

Run Digi test?

Chris

Default Re: Pro Tools ran out of X byte tokens

im starting to think it is the hard drive my client brought in. I can open previous sessions and create new ones with no error. As soon as I copy or imprt anything from the drive in question token byte errors start. Luckily they had another duplicate drive which we copied session sfrom and problem has gone......for now.

Plug-ins are not the issue and I have trashed all prefs and Digisetup files many times.

The sessions on the drive in question were using sd2 files. I did notice when i first plugged in the drive and didnt think anything of it that PT would not let me use that drive as a Recors or Playback drive. Transfer only. I wasnt planning on using that drive anyways....
