Trying to import Pro Tools Songs

Hi All,
I've just downloaded and installed the Pro Tools for Windows trial version.

This is basically to open and adjust previously recorded tracks from my new band - which were recorded using Pro Tools in a studio in Brazil.
Unfortunately the only member of the original band - who gave me the cd is a bit of a technophobe - so I said I'd give it a shot.

However, the copy of the software I've got does not recognize the files on the cd - they have ".L" and ".R" extensions.

I think they may be the Mac format - is there anyway I can convert/open these and do anything with them?

dude,
.l and .r is left and right... the files are mono!
you may need to import them track at a time

More than likely the files are SD2 files.. which on the PC will appear as RAW audio files. If you have Sound Forge.. open them as RAW audio files and in the dialog that appears change the endian order and set the sample rate and resolution.... then save them as WAV files.
