Expansion Pack

I bought my Eleven Rack from a private user who like his other DAW and inter-phase better. He gave me a zip file called Expansion pack and another zip with several of his personal rigs. My question, what is the Expansion pack Guitar Center or Sweetwater installs and how can I tell what rigs are installed other than the ones from the factory. Thanks for any help you can give.

It updates the Firmware of the Eleven Rack to version 2.0.x and includes several new amp, effects, cabs, ect.... If the previous owner has already installed the Expansion Pack to the Eleven Rack then you do not need to do anything. You won't be able to run it anyway because you need a valid Serial and ID number which can only be used once on one PC.

Your other question about "Sweetwater" is probably the exclusive presets they provide when you purchase an Eleven Rack from their store.

I'm not sure about the "Guitar Center" folder you have, I was not aware that they were providing presets/rigs.

In any event, you can load those presets to your Eleven Rack to use them. They don't install anything on the computer, they are just setting files for the Eleven Rack.

That video is a bit outdated because at the time you had to have Pro Tools in order to use the Eleven Rack Editor. But now there is a Standalone Eleven Rack Editor available. However the process of loading rigs is exactly the same.
