Default Dual displays problem

I have a 2012 Mac Pro, 2 x 6 core with a Sapphire HD 7950 3GB Mac Edition video card with dual screens, one for the mix window and one for the edit window. When I open older PT 10 files in PT 11, the two windows come up one on each screen, as it was before upgrading to PT 11. When I create a new project in PT 11, I have to manually move the mix window to the second screen every time I open the file.

Am I missing something obvious here?

Thanks!

Thats the same for us and I would be quite surprised if this wasn't the normal way of doing things. It takes 1 sec to move the Mixer or Edit window so I can't really see any problem here with this.

Been like that for us since we started using multiple screens.

I appreciate your comment, but this function worked fine in PT 10. Why not in PT 11?

When you create a new session, many parameters should be exactly the same as whatever session you had open JUST before creating the new one. So if you have a session open where the mix and edit windows are on separate screens, then save and close that session and immediately create the new one, the new one should have them on separate screens immediately as well. I just tried this and it's working fine. Maybe the session you have open immediately before creating a new one happens to have them both on one screen?
