Question HELP!!!! Problem with the Glyph GT 050 (GT0501F200) 200 GB Hard Drive "Not Valid..."

A friend of mine approached me with the following problem... Although I have seen it in your forums, I have not found anything that works...
ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED .... THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Problem with the Glyph GT 050 (GT0501F200) 200 GB Hard Drive
I am recording with protools L E 7.2 and saving the sessions on a Glyph 050. I am using a macbook pro and this is dedicated to recording only.

Everything was fine until I wanted to burn a wave file cd to give to a drummer so he could add his tracks. My interface is a DIGI002. The system would not let me burn a wave file to a cd the regular way so I tried to circumvent the system by dragging the individual tracks (8 of them) in wave file to the desktop of the mac.I got a warning that if I continue I would change something that I would not be able to change back. I did it anyhow and successfully burned a wave file cd. Since then I can not save or change or open anything in the Glyph or even open protools. The error message that comes up is :Not a valid audio volume".... "Session must be in valid audio volume."

I have tried to use another Glyph GT050 and got the same result. I tried switching the T to R in workspace but it doesn't change.... "Says same as before."

I did the disk utility and all the repairs possible, no help.
I then uninstalled protools and reinstalled it and still no change.

I have an Mbox as well but I don't think these messages would be caused by the DIGI002 acting up.

My next step was to reload the mac operating system... I tried that but was still unsuccessful with the same issues as before.
Lots of money invested here and just trying to find any kind of help.... I feel like I've exhausted every possible resource.
