Yes the installer is messed up for some reason, we are working on it now.

these plugins do not report the correct delay in Pro Tools 11 so ADC does not work properly when they are in your session.

Well I found one way to fix it, at least until the update to 4.2.2 or whatever

Delete all your T-RackS plug ins in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins folder (cut them into a spare folder just in case)

The go to Custom Shop and Restore your gear, it rebuilds the plug ins in the Avid folder and they will work in ProTools 11 again

You may have to reinstall T-RackS 4.2 first if it's been messed up

Now just waiting for a fix to allow Ik Multimedia plug ins to work in the Audio Suite drop down menu..

Anyone know much about that side of things?

I had the same problem when I tried to in install yesterday. I contacted IK support and they were aware of the problem.

Yesterday afternoon they updated the installer (I had originally downloaded in the AM). I downloaded the updated installer (it is still version 4.2.1), and it installed problem free.

I am not sure if you have to, but I uninstalled T-RackS CS, re-installed ver 4.2, restored my gear and then installed the updated version 4.2.1. All plugs were available in PT 10.3.7 and 11.0.2 in the rack and as singles.

I downloaded the installer again and it ran without errors. Seems fixed there.

I think there's still something screwy with it if they have updated it - although the installer now runs fine I'm getting a Pro Tools 10.3.7 app crash when it's trying to scan the CSR Plate plug in on initial start up.

Although if it's running fine on Win7 at your end Lou it's obviously something it doesn't like on my system. :\

Removed all the aax plug ins & reverted to the RTAS versions & all is fine in PT10 now.

I just fired up my system as I also have IK's CSR Reverbs. I launched PT 10.3.7 and encountered no scan problems. Went so far as to insert both the CSR Plate (RTAS), and the T-RackS CS CSR Plate (AAX), on an audio and instrument track and all was well.

I also tried the above in PT 11.0.2 and encountered no problems.

I did however experience problems with the first T-RackS CS 4.2.1 installer and decided to uninstall T-RackS CS from my system.
I then reinstalled T-Racks CS 4.2, initiated the "restore my gear" routine and then installed the updated T-Racks CS version 4.2.1 installer over version 4.2.

If you can't get AAX going you may want to try IK Support. I have used them in the past and they have been quick to respond and very helpful.

Yeah, I may have to do that. I tried again and this time it hung when it got to the Opto-Compressor so something definitely not quite right on my system somewhere. I'm going to give it another shot today & see what happens.

{edit to add} Uninstalled & re-installed fresh download of T-Racks 4.2, then a fresh download of 4.2.1 right over the top & re-synced all my gear in Custom Shop & all now seems ok! :)

Yep. They seemed to fix it with the update. Glad I didn't have to go so far as reinstall win 7 though!

The few times I've needed help, IK service has been quite good.

Still the question remains, why no IK Multimedia plug ins come up in the audio suite menu in PT 11?
