I listened on headphones only. It sounds perfect to me. I'll try to listen on monitors later today, but so far, excellent level balance, guitars pannings, clarity...the drumset sounds a little "far" but that's a choice.

Sounds to me like an excellent job.

Thanks David!

I am troubled by how the falsetto chorus part sounds, but I am not sure what to do with it. I amy try singing it differently. I am thinking it doesn't sit right in the mix.

Thanks again,
Brian

Supe, overall great mix. I agree that the falsetto isn't quite right but not necessarily the way you sang it. I'd try doubling and then panning it hard left and right (and shift one side but a few ms to give it some very subtle space). You could also apply light eq to the OOH OOOHs to differentiate them a bit from the rest of the chorus. I also thought the oohs were a bit too forward. Other than that, I think you nailed it.

I love the drummer of your group!

All instruments sound great and tight.
I'd love to know what kind of compressor you used.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Hmm, that's right. Maybe just lower their volume a little bit?

Maybe that comes from the fact that your normal voice is loud and sung from far away from the mic, while the falsettos are soft and sung from close to the mic, hence more present? Have you tried singing the chorus from further away from the mic?

But again, maybe just a little compression on the OOH (distance from the mic=compression!) and adjust the level carefully. I think the problem might just be the "attack" of the first OOH. Try playing with the automation if you don't like the idea of compression.

Thank you Nori!

The drummer actually is the mix man! He used the Channel Strip plugin on all the drums.

Thanks!

What is the Mix Man? Is it a drum machine??
If so, that's amazing. To me, the song sounds
like you guys are playing it all together.

I like it. I'd like to know what pre amp you're using for vocals, guitars etc. Are you using PODs for mic up amps? Good job. What mics?
