Thanks for the logs, as you can see from my reply you had two adapters on the same subnet. One of your routers was either off or unplugged. This error message was a good thing, and let you know there was a setup issue

PROBLEM SOLVED!

(After 10 months....)

Had nothing to do with EUCOn-installation or IP-adresses of controllers: ProTools had to 'Run as Administrator'.

Steps to follow:
- Quit ProTools
- Right-Click ProTools-application
- Select 'Run as Admnstrator"
- Restart ProTools.

This also solves problem with HUI-controllers not being recognized...
