PT 9 not reading 003 Midi
Had an embarrassing moment today. I was telling one of my clients how good pro tools is instead of cubase that he was thinking of getting. Told him about xpand, and mini grand etc, set up an instrument track to show him and could not get the b****rd thing working!! Midi light was flashing up on the 003, but no sound or reading on the pro tools mixer. I was getting hot under the collar
Found out a fix: 1. Trashed DAE preference folder, and pro tools preferences 2. Restart computer 3. re installed the 003 PT 9 driver 4. Restart computer All is now working fine. Thought this may help any one out before a situation occurs like I had today |

Re: PT 9 not reading 003 Midi
Yes, you have to install the 002/003 driver in order for MIDI to work. As you know, drivers aren't included in the PT 9 install but a separate file.
