PT9 Legacy IO (192) & 3rd Party IO
Will PT9 HD2 w/192 & 192D, work simultaneously with 3rd party IO's; such as MOTU 828?
Will PT9 HD2 w/192 & 192D linked to legacy IO's ADAT Bridge & 1622 be functional? Is there a IO interface crossgrade/upgrade program for 192's (and similar), ADAT bridge, 1622's, 888's, etc to the new IO's?

The reply to each of those questions is 'no'.
You cannot aggregate HD with any other device. Legacy support was dropped unofficially with 8.0, though we went back and fixed a problem to allow support through Pro Tools 8.0.x. Pro Tools 9 does not have that capability any longer. Currently there are no hardware crossgrade or upgrade options except for PCIx to PCIe cards.
