Default Arturia VI Enable Automation Not Working

Hi all,

When I Option+Cmd or Control+Option+Cmd right click on a button or slider, it's not showing me the option to enable automation. Any clues?

Arturia is an odd duck with automation and always has been. And now with the current revisions of some of their synths it's even odder. Some of their older revision synths have a 5 pin MIDI icon in the upper right of the plugin gui. Click on that and the controls would become mappable. Not any more. The MIDI icon has been replaced with a gear icon. Click on that to open a side panel and there's a MIDI tab. Click on that and you see that the mappable controls have already been mapped. I could find nothing that allowed me to change the mapping. And their in-plugin tutorials are ****e.

Actually the 5 pin MIDI icon is in the upper right - will correct my original post.

Try going to -Auto-( at top of plugin window)
Manual enable all, then automate plugin as you would.
I've hit this before in other plugs.

I do hope I’m correct for you!

IIRC that doesn't work for MIDI controllers though.
