Default URS/iLok question

Created an account with iLok.com - m'kay
Created an account with URS - m'kay
Did the Pace extensions thingy - m'kay
Downloaded the 'assets' to my iLok - m'kay

Opened a PT session hoping to see some sweet URS love in my plugin menu and, nothing - not okay.

I checked the FAQ's on both sites.I mean, I did get to the part where it says "All 7 assets downloaded succesfully". What gives?

You will only find it in a multi mono insert and not a stereo one.

Cheers Cliffy, but alas, that didn't do it.
There is no sign of URS plugins anywhere on my computer, yet the iLok site definitely confirms that they have been downloaded to my key. Dunno....

you are downloading licenses to your ilok, not plugins. i'm sure it's pretty obvious but i have to ask this nonetheless: have you actually installed the plugins that are downloadable from urs website?

add.:
you have to download the "Everything Bundle" TDM & RTAS one (those are different) and install the
the licencees for teh EQs you want to DEMO.

If you BUY the plugs in Native format, you need to d/l the RTAS ONLY versions.

The URS account could really need some streamlining in my eyes.

From our recently updated Demo Registration Page:

Native System Demo Users Important Info !
MBox, Digi001 or Digi002 users - Please make sure you download the TDM (demo) versions.
They are located on the Downloads page in the section with the white background as shown here.
The TDM versions include RTAS for MBox, Digi001 and Digi002 users.

Do not download Native installers
located in the "Gray" section of the Downloads page with the grey background as shown here.

The Pace Interlok Extensions are required for your computer to correctly identify your iLok.
Make sure you install the latest Pace Interlok Extensions from our downloads page or :
http://www.paceap.com/dldrvr.html
A reboot is recommended.

Thanks
Bobby

I downloaded the update from the grey side with no problem. Should I redownload from the white side?

HI,

sorry for my inadequate info before, I thought you BOUGHT those plugs!

Yes, to DEMO the plugs you need the TDM versions (which include the RTAS).

So happy Demoing

They're pretty sweet. I've been using the S Mix EQ the most so far as I find the interface a bit more intuitive, while the other ones will have to get used it. I gather it's truly about using your ears with these things, they're probably all gonna sound good on any signal, making the decision between using the A, N, S, Pultec, etc., a tough one. Because of that, I may just buy one after the demo period.
