Aviom a 360
Any word on how the new Aviom a 360 interfaces with the Venue environment now that it boasts a larger input count of 36 inputs?
Saw a clip that mentioned daisy chaining output cards to feed the units input hub. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wleL32r4DQ How would this work on a SC48? would this require buying the Stage rack to have access to more AT16 A-Net Output Card slots, or would daisy chaining them allow you to have a second card mounted somewhere else without buying the stage rack? |

Re: Aviom a 360
I did some research on this as well the other day. It seems that you need to get the analog AN/16i v.2 input module http://www.aviom.com/Aviom-Products-...2-Input-Module. This module has a network input for taking the output from an A-Net card that is onboard the console and then will combine them into one cat5. This will then give you the 32 channels for the new A360.
Not the greatest way to do it, but there's not a good way to do this in the digital domain with these desks. |
