iTeleport Trouble

I purchased an Asus Rt-n12 wireless router and plugged it into the venue profile and i am running a static ip address which is

10.0.0.1
255.255.255.0

So do i connect via the network on my ipad? When i do i can connect and then when i go to iTeleport and enter the information to connect it says Connection Refused. What am i doing wrong? Can anyone please help me.

Make sure your ipad is also a similar ip address. If your console is 10.0.0.1, then you should make your ipad 10.0.0.2 or something like that (subnet will still be 255.255.255.0). More than likely your router is giving your ipad an address of 192.168.1.xx. If that is the case, your ipad won't connect until you do a static ip like I have above.

If that doesnt work, then change the ipad back to DHCP and look at what the address is, then make your console a similar address. For instance if your ipad is 192.168.1.101 then make the console 192.168.1.102 (same subnet 255.255.255.0) and you dont really need to put the gateway but it will probably be 192.168.1.1.

Thanks for the help. I got it up and running great. iTeleport works well but it would be great to have a dedicated app. I can finally get from behind the board during soundchecks.
