Default Pro Tools 7.3.1 Academic Version on a MacBook Pro???

I have a MacBook Pro and the Ozone Academic Keyboard. I also have Pro Tools 7.3.1
When I press play or record it stops itself and says pause in the lower left hand corner. I can only get it to play 1 out of every 3-4 times.

Does anybody have my same configuration getting this to work correctly????

Please help, tech support for both digidesign and m-audio don't have an answer to this.

Thanks very much.

Josh
