Default Battery 3

Anybody using this yet? I have Bat 2... And use it mainly for electronic effects etc... Not really as a "real" drum sound module. Anybody have anything to say about this new version and what it ships with.. Abilities to transform samples etc...
Thanks

B3 on my quad just DOES NOT work. i will not load as a plug in,it hangs protools as well as the othe new NI products FM8 Absynth 4. i hear NI has been able to reproduce this problem and has a fix "coming soon". sidenote, all new plug ins work fine in stand alone mode. hopefully this fix will come soon, all of the new stuff sounds incredible

It appears that most of the problems with battery 3 are happening on dual core machines. Hopefully NI will address that soon but considering the glacial pace at which they fixed Battery 2 bugs I wouldn't hold my breath. Having said that I did install Battery 3 on a machine with a 3.0Ghz P4 hyperthreading processor and haven't had any problems at all. The interface is much improved, some of the included samples are very good, many new features like onboard convolution reverb, drum articulations, improved effects, etc, etc. Bottom line is that so far I'm very pleased with it. It's a great VI. Of course none of that matters if your platform is dual core and NI doesn't get it fixed.
